Compliance tests on serial data interfaces utilize specialized fixtures that maximize signal integrity but how does one validate such an interface that is embedded into a circuit? In this presentation, we will discuss strategies for evaluating the performance of high-speed serial data signals in an active link using an oscilloscope and probes along with software tools that enable measurement of embedded signals.
