Soshun Arai, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, TIER IV

Soshun Arai is Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at TIER IV. He has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry in Japan, the U.K. and the U.S. He is responsible for strategy to scale TIER IV's business including partnerships between semiconductor companies, Tier1s, and OEMs. When he worked for Arm, he founded the Autonomous Vehicle Computing Consortium (AVCC) launched together with General Motors, Toyota, Bosch, Continental, and NVIDIA. He joined TIER IV Palo Alto office in 2021 after 12 years at Arm to develop Arm-based solutions for IVI/cockpit, ADAS/AD, EV, and the ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he worked at Infineon and NXP as a senior application engineer. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo University of Science.
