Ed Kelley is Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer for Isola Group, a leading developer and manufacturer of base materials for printed circuits.  Ed had joined Polyclad Laminates as Director of OEM Marketing in 2003. In 2006 Isola acquired Polyclad and Ed took on Product Management responsibility in addition to his Marketing role. In 2008 Ed relocated to Singapore where he managed OEM Marketing and New Product Introduction for Isola’s Asia-Pacific region before being promoted to Vice President, New Product Introduction & Technical Service, taking on overall responsibility for customer technical support and the introduction, evaluation and qualification of new products at Isola’s PCB fabricator customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Ed relocated to Chandler, AZ in 2017 and in his current role as CTO he leads Isola’s global Research & Development staff as well as the Technical Program Management and Analytical Services Laboratory groups.  
Ed has 34 years of industry related experience. Half of this time was in PCB fabrication, holding positions in R&D, including in dielectric materials development at the Additive Products and PCK Technology Divisions of Kollmorgen Corp. (later acquired by Amp+Akzo), process engineering and engineering management at Hadco & Sanmina Corporations. He has written and published several technical papers related to base materials and printed circuit engineering, and has also authored six chapters for the last three editions of the Printed Circuits Handbook.
