Pirooz Tooyserkani, Principal Engineer, Cisco Systems, Inc.
Pirooz Tooyserkani is a Principal Engineer and a System Hardware Architect at Cisco Systems. He started his career at BNR and Nortel before joining Cisco. At Cisco he has been involved in development of products for Cisco 8000, NCS5500, N7K, and Metro DWDM product lines to name a few. Pirooz' background is in optical, high speed optical and electrical designs, and timing and synchronization designs. He is currently working on development of hardware platforms utilizing 100G per lane and providing high bandwidth switch capabilities using next generation optical and copper connectivities.
